During an EQ Wimbledon Treatment
Whilst massage, healing, reflexology and Indian head massage treatments are very relaxing and a extremely pleasant experience, some EQ Wimbledon's classes are designed to require more active participant participation. Yet even when more strenuous classes are never intended to be overly strenuous. Its fair to say that both therapies and classes are equally rewarding.
Many recipients of a EQ Wimbledon treatment such as massage or healing comment that they feel heat or a tingling in the area being treated which is very normal as the energy and blood flow around the body can significantly improve. Some say they experience an inner calm and peacefulness, feeling refreshed, re-energised, positive and very optimistic, often long after the actual treatment.
As the client relaxes and become more familiar with the treatment they generally become more aware of the more common sensations experienced during treatment such as:
- Become aware of energy flowing through areas of your body
- A deep sense of relaxation
- A feel good factor and after treatment benefits
We want to help address the underlying causes not just the symptoms of a problem. At end of a Treatment Session or Class
At the end of the session, you will be encouraged to rest for a short while, to grounded yourself and become more aware of your environment.
It is common and natural for clients to feel a little tired, perhaps thirsty, slightly light headed, at peace with the world and as if having a weight lifted off their shoulders after a treatment.
We recommend that you drink plenty of water following a treatment and rest as required.
Post Treatment
It is very common to feel different after each treatment as your body is being rebalanced. It should also be said that on occasions depending upon the ailment, it is possible that your condition will feel slightly worse after the healing session. This is because the healing has boosted your immune system which in turn actively tackles the problem.
Advice as to the frequency of follow up treatments will be given on an individual basis and updated at the end of each treatment. For some people a small number of treatments are sufficient, others require periodic but reducing frequency of treatments over a longer period.
In some cases a practitioner may suggest an alternative therapy with an EQ practitioner in which case full details will be provided. Each clients circumstances and ailments are unique and the speed of healing varies from person to person.
At EQ Wimbledon, we would rather see progress with the treatment and reducing frequency of visits than quote an unrealistic unsupported requirement for a fixed number of visits. We also provide after care advice to maximise the benefits of the treatment, ensure a speedy recovery and provide self help guidance.
